International Payroll Manager - Media / Tech - £75k to £85k + Bonus - City of London
Our client is looking to enhance their International Payroll division and seeking an International Payroll Manager based in their London office.
The successful candidate will have a sleeve rolled up mentality and will be the "go to specialist" with experience in improving process's and operational standards across the EMEA and APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity of the payroll information, creating new systems, calculations and management of data;
- Ensures their own knowledge of existing policies and statutory legislation is up to date and strengthen their network to source relevant knowledge on global payroll requirements and legal issues;
- Manage the existing processes and ensure that they comply with all requirements including controls, tax and reporting;
- Manage the tracking and calculating SSP, Holiday and other leaves and reporting accurately;
- Manage and maintain all payroll records and make amendments when necessary with all benefits provided;
- Partner with the benefits division to ensure all employees are aware ensure accurate processing, as well as reporting to external stakeholders and that all deadlines are met;
- Ensure that the HR and Payroll departments work simultaneously and that all policies are being implemented correctly;
- Manage external payroll relationships and continually monitor the service provided and resolve any issues that may arise;
- Ensure the payroll journal is up to date and resolve any issues as required;
- Answer payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders and ensuring compliance worldwide;
- Manage other projects delegated by the SMT.
Requirements:
- A strategic thinker and a hands-on manager of a small team;
- Being able to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills;
- Being able to meet tight deadlines and the ability to understand complex procedures;
- Systems experience with ADP and Workday.
