The Talent Development manager will play a critical role in leading and supporting the priorities of the performance and talent practise, and will be responsible for ensuring the group wide Talent initiatives are aligned to the business priorities.

This role will own the Organisational Talent Review process, and this in turn will support the alignment of the talent review best practise across the divisions, partnering with the Heads of department. To be successful, you will need to be a strong influencer with the ability to drive strategy through a diverse set of stakeholders with varying needs and priorities. It is your role to identify where key talent priorities sit across the divisions.

Another key focus will be the development of a career development framework across the core career paths of the group, - closely aligned to the job architecture framework that sits in the Reward COE.

Specifically, projects will include:

- Manage the development, communication, execution and continuous improvement of the group talent review process.
- Contribute to the design of other development tools for talent management, critically leveraging technology where possible
-Partner with organisation Talent Partners to define Talent pools, for example female talent are high up on their agenda
-Own the development and deployment of the group career framework, partnering closely with the Reward COE
- Global Mobility: Define and deliver a process that supports the visibility of talent across the group, and supporting internal movement
- Build/identify key competencies in roles, looking at career moves vertically and horizontally
- Be analytical in nature- it will be your role to produce reports after the completion of the Talent Review, checking for patters and analysing data

To be considered you must understand the complexities of working in a COE for a global matrix business, but be able to adapt and flex your style when supporting small groups and individual stakeholders on a local level. Ideally someone analytical who is good with Excel would be wonderful. This organisation are rolling out workday, and this will impact how you deliver your service to different groups- so important that technology is a key focus and at the heart of the way you work.

You will be someone who understands and who can work in a bureaucratic environment, who wants to be o the journey of change to bring together, and create a more unified approach to Talent Development.

This organisation will look at someone on an Interim to Perm basis also.
