NPW has been working with key stakeholders, and in particular our schools to develop a range of new products. This year we will be launching a number of these products in collaboration with pilot schools and new partners.
The role
We are currently seeking a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to provide high quality advice and support on Schools HR issues across teaching and support staff including latest policy developments and the implication of changes in employment legislation.
The successful applicant will have experience of complex ER casework, knowledge of conditions of service of school staff, TUPE, working with trade unions and how education and employment legislation interrelate. They will have sharp problem solving and analytical skills, be able to work under pressure and be able to quickly earn the respect of school leaders. This post is a great opportunity to develop a wide range of HR knowledge and skills, including policy development, as part of a developing team.
Your profile
- Knowledge of conditions of service of school based staff
- Experience of complex ER casework
- CIPD Qualified
- Experience of dealing with unions in a highly unionised environment
