Job Details
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR candidate looking for a new opportunity as a HR Advisor. The candidate must have 1-2 year's experience in HR, and be immediately available to start (or on a 1 week's notice).
Client Details
The client are a leading IT distributor, with offices nationwide. They were nominated for several awards in 2018 due to their innovative and cutting edge mentality, and are now looking for a HR Advisor to join their luxury offices in St. Albans on a temp basis.
Description
As a HR Advisor your key responsibilities will be:
- Developing and implementing new policies and procedures
- Assisting with Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management etc.
- Act as support to the HR Administrator
- Lead on recruitment
- Have involvement with probation meetings and yearly appraisals
- Acting as a point of contact for HR queries
- Exit interviews
- Weekly/ Monthly reporting using Excel
Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Be available to start a new role with short notice
- Be a car driver
- Be able to work hours of 9am - 5.30pm
- Have experience as a HR Advisor, HR Officer or Senior HR Assistant
- Have excellent IT skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel
- Be able to work well within a team
- Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
