You will be instrumental in resolving sickness absence situations within the Council. You will interpret data to identify and resolve individual absences. The role will include working with individuals to assist in their return to work, as well as conducting all informal and formal steps of the sickness absence procedures.

All roles will also be involved in key HR projects and initiatives as well as supporting continuing corporate improvement.

All roles will also be part of the team providing advice on the Council’s policies and procedures through our helpline.

To be successful within these roles you will need to be an organised and confident individual who is CIPD qualified and able to demonstrate having worked successfully to the CIPD Professional Map. You will also have up to date knowledge of employment law and evidence of continuous professional development.
