A global bank based in London are now looking for a Learning Path Manager who will take the lead within a global team and focus on learning needs for the infrastructure part of the bank. This business area is 30,000 employees strong and the successful candidate will be part of a 80 strong HR team that are dedicated to this area.

You'll be joining the team who are responsible for developing and implementing learning frameworks across the Infrastructure Divisions and Infrastructure-oriented professions and for the end to end design and delivery of Infrastructure Division-specific training interventions.

We are looking for top class L&D professionals that have blue chip, global matrix business experience and ideally are coming from Financial Services or a transferable industry. Full 360 TNA, design, delivery, evaluation experience is essential. As this person will me virtually managing a team experience of doing this or working on a global scale is also highly sought after.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Partnering with Infrastructure Divisional training leads to develop learning frameworks for Infrastructure sub-Divisions and Infrastructure-based Professions that incorporate regulatory, technical product and personal effectiveness training needs
  • Developing, designing and implementing training programs that satisfy the requirements of the Infrastructure Division, including Divisional enhancements of Cross-divisional training
  • Providing functional management of a global team of Learning Managers
  • Developing and monitoring the utilisation of training books of work and partnering with sub-Divisional technical training owners to ensure alignment of technical training with applicable HR policy, processes and technology e.g. use of C2L
  • Partnering with Management Information to develop, implement and monitor on an ongoing basis analytics that capture training spend and the effectiveness of training interventions
  • Advocating the use and supporting the continuous improvement of cross-Divisional training interventions e.g. Digital curriculum, Management fundamentals
  • Partnering with Communications and Engagement to design cross-Infrastructure standard materials required to support Divisional training needs e.g. ExCo briefings on Management curriculum
  • Attending business briefings as a SME on training topics
  • Developing and delivering advice for individuals and groups of employees relating to training e.g. challenges/queries regarding the digital curriculum, Education Sponsorship)
  • Management of the Infrastructure Divisional training vendor landscape, including development of a Divisional Preferred Supplier List

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience of developing learning pathways based on an understanding of Business learning needs
  • Large, matrix business experience
  • Ideally Financial Services experience
  • Previous experience managing a large team, with experience managing team members in remote locations and/or different geographies
  • Experience partnering with technical or Product training managers
  • Understanding of Infrastructure functional roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, Influencing and relationship skills
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders across the organisation and influence thinking in senior people strong client relationship skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, virtual team supported by global pools of professionals experience collaborating with both the business and different areas in Human Resource
  • Ability to ensure consistent use of standards around key processes and offerings (e.g., talent, succession, performance, development, promotion) whilst ensuring fit/suitability for target group/client
  • Professional at all times, proactive, results-oriented, can-do attitude, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity and change, resilient, rigorous
  • Effective project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize key products and programs together
