Ashley Kate are pleased to be working with our client, a UK wide retail organisation, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is based from their head office in Cardiff where you will be working in their modern offices alongside other members of the HR team.

This a fantastic opportunity to join the HR team of this established and well known retailer. If you have a background in retail, leisure, hospitality or a fast-paced environment then this role will be perfect for you.

Previous multi-site experience is essential and you must have a proven background in dealing with senior stakeholders as well as giving advice to a wide range of employees. You will be confident in dealing with a high volume of ER cases and so you must be conformable with a large case load. Other areas you will be in involved in are supporting senior managers with recruitment. Conducting and advising on disciplinaries and grievances alongside supporting with redundancies .
You will be responsible for supporting regional managers with change in terms and conditions, absence management, performance management and other ad hoc HR activities.

HR Advisor

About you:

·You must have a proven background in a HR Advisor role
·You will need experience in dealing with multiple ER cases at once.
·Ideally a background in a multi site retail environment or similar.
·You will have Excellent spoken and written English language skills
·Expertise in using HR systems and also the use of Excel, Outlook and Word
·Strong knowledge of current UK employment law
