We are looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to join our HR department and provide quality support to a wide variety of stakeholders.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your skills, as you can choose to complete an apprenticeship of your choice that will further your career objectives. Our apprenticeships may also be inclusive of a relevant professional qualification.

The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) is a great place in which to explore your career potential. We are recognised as global leaders, providing high quality marine geospatial data to seafaring industries and develop products that are used to navigate the waters safely. Our work is not only interesting but also makes a real difference across the world.

As Learning and Development Advisor, you will be required to co-ordinate all aspects of the training cycle from the assessment of learning needs, through to creation, delivery and evaluation. You will therefore not only be able to support design activities that truly meet the development needs of our staff, but also deliver topics in an engaging manner that maximises learning.

The ability to advise, empower and build strong working relationships is an integral part of this role. Not only will this enable you to support performance management and the development of our employees, but also to successfully implement, as well as support change within the business. You will need to work collaboratively and flexibly to adapt to changing priorities and manage a complex, demanding workload.

While our projects are career defining, the work/life balance that we can offer you is equally exceptional. From flexitime, flexible working and brand new offices that are designed to give our employees the best possible working environment, the opportunities open to you at UKHO are hard to beat.
