The post holder will manage a team of 4 HR Business Partners who are responsible for working in partnership with managers to deliver HR best practice and customer/business focused HR solutions. 

You will be responsible for supporting and coaching your team to build trusted relationships with their managers and to identify opportunities where HR can add value to the business through designing and implementing local change and transformation programmes e.g. restructures and changes to terms and conditions.

Wellbeing is central to our HR practices and this role is responsible for the development of wellbeing initiatives and support services, which include the on-going development of our wellbeing champions and the day to day management of our Occupational Health contract.

In this role you will also be responsible for working with senior stakeholders to anticipate resourcing needs and liaise with the HR Recruitment Team to ensure the delivery of the agreed resource plans, this will include the management of the job evaluation process and establishment.

You will have management of your own cases and be responsible for the allocation and management of employee relations cases to the HRBP Team. You will also carrying out investigations and provide HR support to hearing managers.

We are looking for an individual who has excellent communication skills and can work at all levels. You should have experience of trade union consultation, supporting change projects, working in a business partner model, and have a management approach which is people focused, using a coaching and inclusive style.  You must be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge in HR concepts/best practice and employment legislation and be fully qualified at CIPD Level 5 or above.
