Job Details
Our Client is a leading Asset Manager based in the City seeking an Global Compensation Manager to cover a 12-15 month maternity fixed term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Provide both operational and strategic support across for Distribution and Wealth Management functions
- Support the transition from team-based sales incentives onto the firm-wide discretionary bonus plan
- Lead on project to significantly improve compensation policies, practices and processes
- Market data survey and benchmarking
- Ensuring firm is meeting all regulatory requirements set by the PRA and FCA
- Prepare all documentation on compensation policies
- Provide data and analysis for Remuneration Committee materials
- Support international compensation programmes
- Participate in the set-up, testing and administration of the Compensation Review process
- Audit HRIS system to ensure compensation data integrity
Essential skills
- Demonstrable experience of compensation management principles and practices
- Experience of leading the year-end compensation process for a material business unit
- Track record of leading reward-related projects
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and highly numerate
- Strong proficiency in Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and report writing applications
- Experience of McLagan benchmarks (or other data providers): analysis and interpretation
- High level of attention to detail and adaptability to changing business requirements
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
