2023 was a funny old year wasn’t it??!! An unpredictable roller coaster, to say the very least.
Recruiters had a particularly bad time of it in the job market but, the HR / People community in general endured a pretty rough ride too.
As a business it was a similar story. We had some great successes and some quieter than normal periods. However, we finished the year on a high, despite personal setbacks felt by all of the team, in one way or another.
Cliché to say but, tougher times definitely make you stronger as a person. As a business owner too, it certainly helps you focus on what is / who are important.
