Inspired by the Nordic countries – who lead the way in health and wellbeing, gender equality, and happiness in the workplace – Fólk was born in 2018 from a genuine desire to recruit in a transparent, flexible and relaxed style.

Workplace equality has never been more important, and Iceland set the standard; consistently ranked best in the world for gender equality, and the first to pass a law to eradicate the gender pay gap. Our name – the Icelandic word for people – is a nod to our own commitment to the issues that matter most within our HR community.
