Office Manager / Senior Executive Assistant – CEO’s office

East London

£32,000 to £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)


Reporting directly to the CEO, the post-holder will hold responsibility for the efficient running of the CEO’s office, including line management of a small team of Executive Assistants. They will be accountable for ensuring the effective, consistent and timely running of the office from an administrative/executive perspective.


* Become the main POC for both external and internal stakeholder queries, vetting and screening both telephone calls and emails, as well as ensuring a professional front of house service is offered in line with visitors to the CEO’s office
* Responsible for the drafting and co-ordination of briefing materials for the CEO
* Ensure efficient budget management of the CEO staffing/office budget
* Management of the CEO’s inbox, as well as of the workloads of both Executive Assistants
* Build up strong working relationships with key stakeholders for the CEO i.e. Head of departments, Trustees, board members etc., ensuring a professional yet personable demeanour at all times
*Attend relevant meetings, undertaking and then producing minutes
* Research, review and produce important documents in line with the CEO’s key workload
* Oversee and manage the CEO’s travel and expenses
* Complete ad-hoc administrative tasks, supporting the Executive Assistants where necessary


* Degree educated
* Extensive experience working at Senior Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant level, for an Executive Manager or Director
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, matched with a resilient and professional persona
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Works well under pressure
* Ability to work late when needed (occasional), plus to travel to various sites across London
