Interim Regional HR Generalist
£40,000 + car

A nationally recognised distribution organisation is seeking a highly capable HR Generalist to join this business, initially for a period of 12 months. Due to significant changes taking place following the acquisition of and subsequent merger with another company, you will be responsible for working in a highly autonomous, standalone position, providing a varied HR service to an internal customer base of c600.

Operating in this 24/7 environment, and engaging with a varied and geographically dispersed internal customer base, you will be expected to add value to the organisation by acting as the first point of contact for staff, ensuring issues are dealt with in a highly proactive manner whilst minimising the impact on the business.

Due to the nature of the business you will be expected to travel to sites throughout the north of the UK and Scotland and as such should expect to be on the road 3 – 4 days a week. With this level of travel there is the expectation that you will have some overnight stays.

To be considered for this role you must:
• Be an excellent communicator and able to operate at all levels
• Be experienced of dealing with complex ER issues
• Have excellent and up to date Employment Law knowledge
• Be a self-starter with the ability to identify issues and act accordingly
• Be happy working in a standalone capacity

Initially a 12 month interim position, there is the possibility of this being extended.
