Macmillan Davies are delighted to be working with a client to find a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their HR team based in Blackpool. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will take the lead and ownership of ensuring the business attracts, selects, and retains the best possible talent available to us in the market place.

You will be an integral cog to the recruitment process ensuring you're involved from role concept through to onboarding. You will use your previous experience of in house or agency recruitment to take on hiring manager briefs and build resourcing plans that meet the needs of varied vacancies.

Duties and responsibilities

*Delivering a full in-house recruitment service, focusing on roles across the UK, for all business areas reducing agency reliance and focussing on direct methods.
*Managing relationships with hiring managers at all levels to gain clear understanding of role requirements
*Manage candidate relationships including pre-screening, telephone and face to face interviewing, progress updates, rejections and offer processes.
*Proactively talent pool candidates to ensure the business is ahead of the curve
*Design and manage a suite of assessment tools and techniques, including core competency frameworks, interviewing, psychometric or testing tools and candidate assessment centres
*Attend all graduate recruitment fairs to build talent pipelines for management trainees, graduate recruitment, interns and placement scheme's.

About You

You'll be experienced in a similar role already, ideally both in house and agency experience is required. You will have a demonstrable knowledge of employment law relating to resourcing and have a passion for recruitment technology. Detail focused and IT literate, you should be experienced in creating and managing reporting of key recruitment metrics, time to hire, cost per hire, candidate sources etc. You should also be proficient in writing creative adverts to attract and engage using a variety of social and traditional recruitment method
