At Old Mill, we know our people are our most important asset. Without them we can’t provide our clients with life changing tax, accountancy and financial planning advice. So, to help us attract, develop and retain the best people in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive job market, we’ve appointed our first ever HR Director and are growing our HR team by 40%.

Someone who knows what best recruitment practice looks like, you’ll develop our recruitment processes and make sure we deliver as much bang for our buck as possible. Working closely with our recruiting managers and HR Partners to identify and meet our future resourcing needs, you’ll plan recruitment campaigns, drive activities across all channels and advise on the best approaches to sourcing and attraction.

With a strong focus on emerging talent, you must be able to build strong relationships with our recruitment partners, potential hires and early careers hires. Managing every stage of the recruitment process, you’ll create adverts, network with and grab the attention of the best talent on social media. Making sure everyone knows that Old Mill is a great employer and a place where they can develop their career, your role will also involve interviewing candidates, screening applications, running assessment centres and keeping everyone in the loop.

You should have a strong recruitment or HR track record gained with an organisation that has experienced significant change. As well as wide-ranging direct sourcing expertise and excellent candidate assessment and interviewing skills, you’ll need to be able to build our employer brand and run careers events. Ideally with a relevant degree or CIPD qualification, you should also be passionate about new tech and up-to-speed with recruitment law and practice.
