Are you passionate, open minded and lovely to work with? Can you drive our people agenda and become a trusted HR consultant and advisor to our people managers and client teams? If the answer is yes, take on this exciting new role and help us deliver our ambitious plans for the future by shaping and delivering the best HR service possible.

At Old Mill, we know our people are our most important asset. Without them we can’t provide our clients with life changing tax, accountancy and financial planning advice. So, to help us attract, develop and retain the best people in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive job market, we’ve appointed our first ever HR Director and are growing our HR team by 40%.

Partnering with our client teams, you’ll get to the heart of what our teams do and identify their future resourcing needs. Leading the strategic and operational delivery of our innovative people agenda, you’ll provide the support our people managers need to put our annual people processes into action and implement HR changes and practices.

Happy to roll your sleeves up to get the job done, you’ll be involved with every aspect of HR. You’ll develop resourcing plans, deliver L&D programmes and advise on performance management and employee relations. You’ll also coach managers, recommend improvements and help them to maximise employee engagement and motivation. Above all, your advice and support will help us to recruit, develop and retain the very best talent at every level.

You should have a strong track record gained as an HR Partner or HR generalist with an organisation that has experienced significant change. Someone who wants to lead and play a key part in all kinds of HR projects, you must have experience of building great relationships with managers and helping them to implement, embrace and embed change. Not afraid to challenge things to help us achieve our goals and shape our culture, you’ll also need to be able to coach our people, share best practices and use a variety of change management techniques.

With so much positive change going on, you’ll have no shortage of opportunities to stretch yourself and develop your career. This is an exciting time to join! If you agree – apply now by clicking on the 'Apply' button.
