My client is an award-winning production organisation based in central London. They are therefore looking for a contractor to join for an initial period of 6 months to be solely responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of a wide range of initiatives and programmes to support this ambition. Key responsibilities; Champion and deliver Diversity and Inclusion activities and projects across the business, gaining buy inEnsure that the organisation achieves the Disability Confident accreditation by YE 2017 to support the hiring, retention and development of disabled employees and ensure this is reflected in our hiring attraction channelsDevelop a D&I 6 - 12 month project plan for the business which sets out D&I project and goal delivery within the timeline.Establish relationships with influential external diversity and inclusion groups to support hiring and share best practice.Develop relationships with schools/universities with diverse student populations to support a pipeline for entry level roles and apprenticeship opportunities.Design and launch a reverse mentoring scheme where BAME, LGBT and female staff are matched with more senior staff from different backgrounds to share their perspectives.Develop and implement a diversity dashboard of metrics to demonstrate how we are tracking towards our diversity goals in recruitment, development and retention with quarterly reporting to CEO and Business Heads.Advise on Diversity and Inclusion best practices and latest updates within the industry. Candidates will have a proven strong interest and passion in supporting the organisation to become a more diverse workplace. You will be results focused and work hands on to ensure delivery on time.
