Our client, a leading FMCG business is looking for an HR Manager to cover two of their factories in the West Midlands. Working with the Site Managers and sitting within the European HR team, it is a diverse role that will cover all aspects of the Generalist remit.
Sitting on the site leadership team, you will take responsibility for day to day HR queries, as well as defining and executing the strategic HR plan across the population. You will lead on HR related matters and support the business and human capital strategy. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations Europe, this is an autonomous role and will take responsibility for business strategy and structure, recruitment and selection, learning and development and employee engagement. You will work with Centres of Excellence for the HR specialisms but you will manage and maintain the face to face stakeholder relationships. The sites are going through some transformation and change currently so there is also a project element to the role.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have previous experience of working in a factory, manufacturing or FMCG environment. This is a key hire for the business so you will be motivated to learn and develop, want to take the next step in your career and have worked in fast-paced environments. You will be able to operate at a strategic level with the leadership team, as well as working with shop floor staff to ensure that there is a high performing culture. You will also have a successful track record of working on and delivering change.
