Reporting into the Learning & Development manager the role of Learning & Development Advisor works alongside 3 others in the team on all design, delivery and evaluation of learning solutions.
The client is a UK leading law firm with coverage across Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific. This role is based at their Bristol head office which is a short walk from Bristol Temple Meads station.
In the role of Learning & Development Advisor for our legal client based in Bristol you will act as the first point of contact, providing advice and guidance on all aspects of Learning & Development. You will work closely with the business to analyse the training needs, develop, co-ordinate and maintain learning programmes to ensure that all learning is delivered in line with business goals.
You will need to develop and nurture relationships with external training providers for both technical and business skills and support the Learning & Development manager in procuring new providers when required.
Working closely with the recruitment team you will support the co-ordination of the of the trainee solicitor and apprenticeship programmes. You will also partner with internal subject matter experts to design and deliver workshops and skills sessions as required.
As the Learning & Development Advisor for our legal client based in Bristol you will have previous experience of the following -
- Learning & Development theory and application
- Supporting in the design and delivery of training materials
- Recruitment for graduate & apprenticeship training programmes
- Working with Learning Management Systems
- E-learning tools
Any experience of working within a law firm or an equally regulated industry combined with knowledge of regulatory training requirements for the profession is highly desirable.
The role of Learning & Development Advisor is paying in the region of £25,000 - £35,000 dependant on previous experience.
