HR Manager opportunity working for a leading business in Newark. Better Placed HR People are working on behalf of this exciting and fast growing organisation. This HR Manager opportunity will see you partner one of the most high profile areas in the business, supporting the director and the leadership team through the growth agenda.

Reporting into the Regional Head of HR you will manage a team of HR Advisors and HR Assistants, guiding, supporting and coaching them in all areas of HR. The business want HR to add real commercial value, your voice will be heard and the business are extremely receptive to great HR.

Whilst this HR Manager role is a truly generalist HR role in nature the organisation want you to act as a HR Business Partner, coaching, advising and challenging the leadership and management teams. You and your team will be responsible for driving the entire HR agenda. You will actively be involved in complex employee relations issues, working with and building relationships with the unions, resourcing, performance management, talent management, reward, employee engagement, well-being and learning and development. In many of these areas you will draw in the expertise from the centres of excellence to deliver what is necessary. It is therefore critical that you come from a generalist HR management or HR business partnering background.

You will be able to demonstrate a broad generalist HR Management background either in a HR Manager, Regional HR Manager or HR Business Partner role. You will be able to show how you have partnered with senior teams and implemented HR initiatives that have had real value. This is a great opportunity for you to make an impact and really influence the management team with the right commercial HR approach. Due to the growth of the organisation they see this role as being on a clear succession path to a Head of HR role.
