Head of HR Operations
My client is undoubtedly a leader in their field, with clear commercial objectives and a commitment to bettering themselves. As Head of HR Operations and reporting into the Group HR Director, you will be instrumental in driving though change impacting performance and people processes to move to a more commercial and leading-edge business.
Managing, coaching and developing an operational HR team and working closely with the leadership team; you will have the opportunity to 'roll up your sleeves' whilst also supporting the HR Director in creating and delivering the people strategy. You will establish and build strong relationships with the unions and lead and manage continuous change both structurally and culturally. You will also be instrumental in managing specific projects such as organisation design and delivery, talent and succession planning.
Experience of working at a senior HR level and within a blue collar and highly commercial environment is essential, as is working with and negotiating with Unions. You will have the ability to lead a team whilst still deliver and maintain a hands-on approach and challenge the status quo in a supportive yet constructive manner.
