Employee Relations Consultant
We are recruiting on behalf of a number of businesses in Leeds who are keen to develop a positive employee relations climate, by providing a comprehensive and expert ER service which includes end-to- end case management and the provision of commercial advice and support for managers on a range of employee relations issues including but not limited to conduct, capability, attendance management and organisational change.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with managers in other regions/offices as the main point of contact for ER issues
- Provide pragmatic case management support and advice on all employee relations issues, including (but not limited to) performance development , disciplinary issues, grievance / disputes, and sickness absence management
- Provide coaching and educative interventions for managers on employee relations matters
- Ad hoc involvement in organisational change programme activity
We are looking for candidates who have extensive ER case management experience, from informal meetings through to dismissals and appeals, whether this is part of a wider generalist role or as an ER specialist. These roles will suit those who enjoy operating in a business-facing capacity, not just advising via email/phone. You will have up-to-date knowledge of employment law and be comfortable coaching and training managers. It is expected that you will be an effective influencer with the ability to create strong collaborative relationships with all colleagues and representatives.
