A global professional services firm based in the City of London are looking for a HR Operations and Candidate Services Team Lead to join the HR & Talent Operations function on a long-term FTC of approx. 12-18 months. The role is confidential and is a brand-new position within the business. This role will suit somebody with previous operations experience within the Talent Acquisition and HR space or alternatively somebody who has come from a recruitment agency background within strategy, operations and transactional process improvements. You will report directly to the Head of HR Services Delivery and they are ideally wanting somebody to join latest end of September.Accountable for the performance and service of the HR Candidate Services team which is the support team for all hiring activity. Lead the team through a period of change, evolving the service to enable HR Operations & Talent Acquisition deliver a high-quality hiring service to the business. Drive a culture of process improvement, a tight focus on data integrity and an excellent service to candidates, managers and employees.

Provide an effective, efficient, high quality, candidate focused, service for all UK based businesses

Responsible for employee documentation and authorisation, in line with Company policy and guidelines

Proactively manage all HR channels and associated ways of customer contact with the team.

Manage case load, prioritise and allocate cases within the TA team.Proactively coach, develop and manage the performance of the team

Suggest and implement process improvements that will contribute to more efficient working practices - be a Subject Matter Expert for all Talent Acquisition HR processes

Provide meaningful analytics to the Head of TA, Head of HR Services Delivery and other key stakeholders

Manage supplier administration, relationships with agencies & the recruitment preferred suppliers list

Meet, manage and provide reports on KPI's and SLA's as required.

Liaise effectively with all areas of the HR function - be a key bridge of effective interaction and connectivity

Manage the relationship and payment with recruitment key suppliers

Be involved in any cross functional or HR projects as necessary

Ensure effective controls are in place to meet SOX requirements or other auditable processes as required

Knowledge & Experience:

Experience of coaching and developing people and ability to manage and motivate a team

Track record of working in a customer-focused environment where the emphasis is on SLA's and continuous improvement. Ideally worked in an HR or Recruitment Shared Service Centre before, but other relevant operational experience considered

Track record of delivering process improvement. Experience of Workday or other HR SaaS

Skills & Personal Qualities:

Good interpersonal skills - personable and professional. Be a great ambassador for HR and the wider organisation

Excellent level of IT skills in particular Excel (e.g. v look-ups/pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, HR Database)

Must be tenacious, resourceful and resilient. Client centric

Proven organisation skills with ability to prioritise in a timely and efficient manner

Strong relationship building skills, Outstanding attention to detail
