Global HR Director - £120k - £170k - Cyprus

A sunny opportunity has arisen for an HR Director with Global experience to join a growing business based in Cyprus.

As Global HR Director you will lead the development and delivery of the People Agenda and operational practices covering all aspects relating to HR Operations, learning and development, performance management, total rewards, in addition to supporting the executive team in strengthening the culture.

This role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is responsible for a headcount of c4000 employees. The business is in growth mode.

The role will require regular travel, mainly to European cities. Russian language skills would be an advantage although not a requirement.

You must have work experience in a fast paced multinational business environment, ideally in FMCG, High Tech or Media.

What you will do:

Deliver on HR operational strategy, goals and priorities to overall business strategy and objectives

Partner with regional and functional HR business leaders to develop organizational priorities and initiatives

Responsible for the efficient delivery and evaluation of ongoing, annual and planned one-off HR programs and developing action plans to mitigate risks resulting from the implementation

Assess, develop and lead a strong, effective human resources team

Participate in/lead/shape strategic discussions around compensation/executing a reward program, which will align with overall goals of the organization. Ensure that forward thinking/competitive programs are in place, or are being developed.

Oversee continual improvement and simplification of HR solutions and processes

Support leaders on major HR projects and relevant business issues, and provide guidance to the business and managers

Coach and build capability of senior managers to anticipate and pre-empt organizational issues

Partner with leaders to evaluate and assess the capacity and capability of the organization and design interventions to drive the Wargaming culture, behaviors, skills and performance

Ensure the organization has the right resources, capability and talent to achieve strategic ambitions

Communicate operational goals and initiatives to leaders and HR team and take ownership of HR's messages to key stakeholders

Demonstrate agility, working with the business to confirm priorities when facing conflicting

agendas; preempt setbacks on projects by anticipating and addressing potential sources of delays;

show persistence and resourcefulness in the face of obstacles

Advanced knowledge of and ability to interpret data, benchmarks, HR and business metrics and use

to make recommendations and critical decisions

Ability to translate professional and industry insights into action and apply these to influence

leaders and decisions

Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and distill complex data into distinct, clear, concise concepts others can understand
