Senior Learning & Development Manager
As part of a small team reporting to the Group Head of Talent & Leadership this role will have responsibility for a group wide training programme and succession planning across the business.
Key Accountabilities include:
*Identify, develop and deliver prioritised key learning deliverables for senior leadership and management training programs
*Work with cross-functional partners to identify current and future core capabilities for the strategic learning framework to ensure program alignment across divisions
*Design and deliver one to one coaching and follow up sessions developing the skills and performance of the senior leadership group
*Initiating changes and improvements to training and coaching programmes, processes and procedures as appropriate.
*Developing and implementing internal marketing and communication strategies to engage learners.
*Support, develop and motivate staff to deliver departmental and individual objectives and KPIs when applicable
*Manage and develops direct reports' skills and capabilities by planning effective development activities.
Essential skills and experience
*Proven experience in leading and managing teams
*Experience in managing performance and training design, delivery and evaluation of leadership & management programs
*Experience of training/coaching and facilitating
*Any commercial sector experience ideally not in Financial Services
*Experience in an agile & fast moving environment
*Thorough understanding and experience of employment law
*An organised approach to be able to coach a multitude of managers from diverse backgrounds, whilst establishing trust and integrity.
*Experience of delivering change
*Six sigma/lean/change management experience/ knowledge is desirable
*Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and adaptability
*Deliver classroom training modules, workshops and e-learning
