This FTSE 250 Financial Services company requires an experienced Learning & Development Manager for a 12 month contract. This is a very hands on role so you must be experienced in design & delivery.

Key Accountabilities:
*Support a client group of about 400 based in the UK & US so there will be occasional travel to the US
*To implement large scale training/OD projects including design, planning, evaluation and monitoring
*To design, deliver and evaluate learning/OD initiatives, project track & manage training activities, facilitate events and actively support the Head of Talent Development in the delivery of an effective, proactive and professional training & talent management service to the Group
*To partner with designated business areas in order to develop a deep understanding of their business objectives, challenges, people and plans in order to provide tailored and appropriate OD support
*To design training materials and new organisational development initiatives
*To facilitate on training programmes, team events and off-sites


Essential skills & Experience

*Experience of large scale training programme project management
*Experience of training programme and material design
*Experience of facilitation and training delivery
*Production of accurate reporting and management information
*Experience of trend analysis and reporting on people issues
*Experience of processes that support the training cycle, e.g. training needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation
*Supplier liaison, sourcing and vendor management
*Possess some form of psychometric instrument specialism such as Myers Briggs
*Several years' experience working in a training and development environment, ideally in insurance or financial services
*Experience of leadership/management development (preferred
*Learning Management System implementation (desired)
*Exposure to e-learning development/delivery (desired)
*Experience of talent mapping processes (desired)
