An exciting and different type of opportunity is now available at a global Financial Services provider. They are looking to hire a Performance Effectiveness Specialist two work in their dedicated performance team. The role will focus entirely on the strategic elements of performance management, driving development and career conversations, engagement and performance philosophy.

This is a different type of role as not only does it need a blend of skills but it is a genuine strategic role that links with multiple partners and stakeholders within the organisation in order to get involved with the creative aspects of performance philosophy and to help shape and change things within the business.

Overall purpose of the role:

  • Provide thought leadership, insights and strategic input from a Performance SME perspective that helps shape the future performance direction and approach
  • Help the businesses we support to drive cultural change through the development of targeted learning interventions that build organisational, team and individual capability, skills, knowledge and behaviours
  • Work with our business areas to help capture hearts and minds in order to help embed relevant change initiatives that support the continual evolution of the business' Performance philosophy, approach and framework.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to help them identify and create the right conditions for inspiring high performance

You will be working in an open cultured, fun, fast paced and personable team of 5 consisting of a Global Head, 2 x VPs and 2 x AVPs. The team cover the whole business from a performance perspective so this will be a busy, challenging and broad role.

We are looking for candidates that have a blend of skills across performance (from a cultural, reward, and business goals perspective), leadership and talent, business partnering and engagement. Due to the size and nature of the business it is also essential that candidates come from a large matrix structured organisation within the private sector.
