Leadership Development Manager
My client, a large transport organisation are looking for an L&D Manager to join their organisation on a 9 month FTC in a newly created position. It has been identified there is a need to design, delivery and evaluation a new Leadership Development programmes & other training interventions across the organisation to meet current and future management development needs, ensuring our managers have the relevant skills to fulfil their roles most effectively. Accountability:Review existing arrangements and build and implement an effective Induction programme: 1 week, 1, 3 6 months, to include Mentoring for new drivers and implementing the new approach to InductionReview the career paths across London within the organistaionCreate training plan from 9 block grid talent identifierNew supervisor/manger training: explore existing programmes within the organisation and agree best deployment approachOversee and help deliver 'compliance training' eg grievances, discriminationExplore how to utilise the apprentice levyOwn Graduate + other training programmes for LondonOwn specific training interventions for specific needs: eg team development days, coaching, Lean 6 sigma etcRoll out the TED training management system across London Must possess:Experience of designing and delivering training to all levels of a business.Experience of coaching senior management, ideally with relevant ILMC qualification.Significant experience of working with operational management to create organisation wide and individual training needs analysis.Design and delivery of an integrated programme of leadership development interventions.Experience of working in a multi-site, commercial, diverse organisation.An engaging and energetic personality that people warm to and the ability to build credibility and gravitas quickly.
