This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional HR Advisor to join a fast paced and dynamic national business during a period of change. Working as HR Advisor aligned to staff and managers at sites across the UK you will be dealing with day to day HR issues as well as supporting with some HR change issues.

You will spend 1-2 days a week in Birmingham and must be prepared to travel across the region as required (Midlands / East Anglia / South East).

Duties include:

  • Providing advice and guidance to managers on day to day HR / ER issues
  • Supporting and coaching operational managers to improve management capabilities
  • Ensuring line managers are proactive about filling their vacancies and assisting with recruitment activity in challenging areas
  • Working closely with Regional Managers to formulate area plans to include succession planning, performance management and labour turnover plans.

You are likely to be CIPD qualified and it is essential that you have proven experience of delivering operational HR support in a busy, commercial and multi-site environment.

To be a success in this role you will need a positive can-do attitude, be able to build effective business partnerships within the operational business and be prepared to go the extra mile in support of your HR colleagues.

Salary: c£38,000 + car & benefits.

Location: Birmingham Base (Travel across the Midlands, East Anglia and the South East)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: End April 2018
