Oakleaf are proud to be partnering with one of the top consulting services companies based in Central London who are looking for a part time Payroll and Benefits Advisor to join their team of 5, paying £40,000 to £42,000 FTE. Reporting into the HR Director, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Be the Subject Matter Expert on all payroll best practice, policies, process and operating procedures

Build a good working relationship with the external payroll provider

Managing all payroll and benefit processes including tax year end, P11Ds etc.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Stakeholders and Finance

The idea candidate's experience will look like:

Strong Excel skills is a necessity for the role

Have good payroll and benefits legislation knowledge

Strong understanding of tax and the ability to perform manual calculations around them

Knowledge of pensions, and understanding defined contribution schemes

Have the ability to manage all benefit schemes

Fantastic communication skills

Ideally CIPP qualified or working towards this.

The role will be either be three full days or spread across 5 days working around 22.5 hour week depending on the candidate.
