Senior HR Advisor
Daily responsibilities will include -
*Assist Head of Hr with HR Tracker to ensure all cases are documented and followed up where appropriate.
Coordinate all induction, site performance management, recruitment, and development.
*Manage site ER cases and either ensures for personal intervention or delegates appropriately. Full oversight of a case from beginning to end.
*Coordinate and Ensure the right people attend disciplinary, performance improvement, grievance or appeal meetings or attends such meetings in person to chair or support.
*Ensures individuals who attend HR meetings are capable to do so and coaches in advance as necessary.
*Builds commitment to policy adherence.
*Provides comprehensive telephone and email advice when managers contact the HR Advisory Centre.
*Strives for mediation and informal approaches to issue resolution before formal action
Policies and Processes
*Works on fit for purpose HR policies. Provides oversight for the effective implementation of new and revised policies.
*Introduces simple, standard and repeatable processes and support documents.
*Anticipates and respond to legislative and regulatory change.
*Analyses trends and helps HR Manager and HRBPs to plan for proactive interventions to ER issues.
*Provides material for training sessions and conducts webinars with HR Manager
*Previous ER or HR Advisor experience
*Sound knowledge of employment law and up to date knowledge of primary pieces of employment legislation.
*Exposure to a range of ER issues, including TUPE and redundancy.
*Ability to compile comprehensive policy and support documents.
*Able to demonstrate a commercial approach to HR experience
*Able to provide training interventions.
*Good use of MS Office tools.
*Excellent written and oral skills.
*Familiarity with HRIS's or a case management tool
