Employee Relations Consultant
An Employee Relations consultant is required for a leading retailer with their Head office in Gloucestershire. The role will be based locally for 2-3 days per week with the flex to visit stores and working from home as required for the remainder The core responsibility will be to provide advice and guidance to managers in regards to all ER related matters. You will manage and deliver quality, consistent and clear advice plus provide support and coaching to line managers. Other key accountabilities will include:
Deliver an ER service in accordance with employment law and the performance management framework.
Influence and coach managers on people management issues.
The successful candidate will have a background in ER, delivering advice and guidance to an existing client group, ideally within a recruitment, FMCG, or distribution environment. Your employment law knowledge will be up to date. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures and processes plus proven experience of balancing the implementation of these with the needs of the business.
