Specialist Clinical Psychologist - Oxfordshire
We are currently looking to recruit a Specialist Clinical Psychologist on a full time, permanent basis to be based with one of our clients in Oxfordshire.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
To develop a mental health support / psychological provision infrastructure to enable the sound psychological management of our clients employees and applicants to minimise risk of unsuitable people being employed in safety critical posts and therefore providing assurance to stakeholders. Support our client by providing the tools to effectively manage mental health related cases.
You will be working closely with HR and reporting directly into the HR manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Qualified Clinical Psychologist (D.Clin.Psychol. or equivalent), eligible for Chartered Clinical Psychologist Status in the British Psychological Society.
Further training in at least one psychological therapy
Experience of work in psychology services in a similar setting
Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision
Experience of carrying out adult diagnostic assessments to determine specific learning difficulties
Experience in undertaking leadership roles within clinical psychology services, and in contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategies and clinical policies
Highly skilled in specialist interventions with the client group.
Advanced psychological assessment and formulation skills including risk assessment.
The ability /experience to carry out screening in similar work environments
Salary up to circa £37k however there would be flexibility above this for the right person + an exceptional benefits package
