Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Officer will be responsible for managing a diverse and varied portfolio, supporting and advising managers on absence, health, conduct and capability cases as well as other policies and procedures. Additionally, the role will be responsible for drafting and reviewing HR policy and procedure and undertaking HR project work as and when required.

Applicants will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified or in the process of studying and have previously worked within an HR generalist's role. Working closely with managers you will have a practical approach to dispute resolution, able to working collaboratively, to build trust and support the achievement of appropriate outcomes, along with experience of developing and applying policy and procedure in accordance with legislative requirements.

This role is offered as a 6 month contract from October 2017.
