This Global Financial Services firm based near Liverpool Street station requires an experienced Technical Talent Development Manager. You will be responsible for building a technical curriculum and developing and sourcing appropriate solutions to functional learning needs. A 12 month contract with a completion bonus.
This role is not suitable for someone with mainly experience in Leadership or Management Development.

Key accountabilities:
*Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts and HR Business Partners to analyse the functions and responsibilities of typical roles & identify the key business and technical competencies that lead to effective performance.
*Construct a series of technical competency frameworks which correspond to the bands or levels in each core business function/job family, clearly indicating progression and complexity.
*Devise a technical curriculum mapped to the competency frameworks, identifying clear performance standards and learning objectives for each subject.
*Working closely with the Talent Development team and selected external suppliers, develop a suite of technical learning solutions and programmes to meet the core business learning needs, incorporating a range of learning and instructional methods and applications to suit a 70:20:10 approach.
*In partnership with the Talent Development team, business leaders and HR Business Partners, conduct needs assessments and performance gap analyses to identify the requirement for formal training programmes for two calendar years.
*Ensure that competency frameworks, programmes and other learning solutions match EBRD's current approach to business, reflect the Bank's business strategy, processes, procedures and policies and are future-focused and sustainable.
*Contribute to the development of career pathways by combining technical learning solutions with business, management and personal effectiveness solutions.

Essential skills & experience:
*Technical Training inhouse experience in Financial Services
