Payroll & Benefits Advisor
Oakleaf are proud to be partnering with one of the top consulting services companies based in Central London who are looking for a part time Payroll and Benefits Advisor to join their team of 5, paying £40,000 to £42,000 FTE. Reporting into the HR Director, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
-Be the Subject Matter Expert on all payroll best practice, policies, process and operating procedures
-Build a good working relationship with the external payroll provider
-Managing all payroll and benefit processes including tax year end, P11Ds etc.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with Stakeholders and Finance
The idea candidate's experience will look like:
-Strong Excel skills is a necessity for the role
-Have good payroll and benefits legislation knowledge
-Strong understanding of tax and the ability to perform manual calculations around them
-Knowledge of pensions, and understanding defined contribution schemes
-Have the ability to manage all benefit schemes
-Fantastic communication skills
-Ideally CIPP qualified or working towards this.
The role will be either be three full days or spread across 5 days working around 22.5 hour week depending on the candidate.
