With a new Group People Director, it’s a propitious time to join the People team and contribute to the evolution of their HR and Talent strategy.

We are looking for a CofE leader to set and lead a Reward Strategy that aligns to the Group’s values and can support their growth and performance ambitions.  Combining the Reward and Shared Service functions you will build a customer led People Services Team (c.9) accountable for Reward, first line ER Advice and HR Administrative Support.

There’s a lot to do – and the pace will not slow – you’ll be building an infrastructure to support the current business model whilst taking into consideration future growth through acquisition, and understand how to shape and overlay integration activities. 

Your immediate focus will be to create a robust plan to achieve key deliverables that will include; Expert advice and insight on moving towards one reward strategy – job evaluation, grading, pay, benefits and incentives.  Review of Exec Remuneration strategy and advice and guidance to RemCo.  Creation of core processes for reward and shared service activities that deliver timely, high quality forecasting and provision for the annual cycle - performance management, annual bonus plans, LTIP.  In collaboration with IT and HR peers, lead the HR technology plan to migrate to one IT platform.

With significant organisational change and development, you will be a critical Champion for the development and delivery of a comprehensive and compelling employee proposition across the Group.  Crafting and delivering effective communication through a variety of channels to connect and engage employees.

If you are an experienced leader and expert reward specialist with a commercial orientation that has enabled you to experience working across a multi-site service business – we’d welcome the opportunity to connect.  Ideally, you’ll have experienced working within Retail, Wholesale, FMCG – incorporating white and blue collar colleague population – where you have delivered tailored and pragmatic solutions to help attract talent, reward performance, and deliver strong succession. 

*This role will ideally be based at their Bristol offices and relocation support is available, however a London based candidate could comfortably work from their North London offices two days per week with a recognition that on average c.3 days per week would take them to Bristol*
