Senior HR Officer
An amazing opportunity to join an Academy, in a completely generalist HR position covering all aspects of the field at a location which is easily accessible from either East London or Essex.
A Secondary school Academy which is easily accessible from East London or Essex by car or train.
The Senior HR Officer will have a full generalist remit covering:
- performance management
- overseeing all recruitment process
- line managing an HR Administrator
- payroll updates
- providing policy advice
- senior leadership team duties for the school
The Senior HR Officer must have worked in a generalist HR role, should have progressed past the administrative duties, and should have studied some Human Resources theory either through CIPD or a University degree.
You must be a team player and be keen to work in a school environment where the children are at the heart of everything and be willing to get involved with the extended leadership committee meetings and events too. Prior experience working in the Education sector is definitely not essential but would be a bonus.
Experience line managing junior staff is not necessary, but exposure to the full range of HR duties listed above will be.
The Senior HR Officer will receive a salary starting between £25,000 and £28,000 along with a great benefits package. This salary is to take into account the outer London location.
