Payroll Manager - £65K - Temp to Perm - Birmingham

My client represents one of the largest and most respected law firms in existence.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Manager to join their team reporting into the Head of HR in an interim capacity whilst they recruit the permanent option.

To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must -

have worked on a payroll in excess of 2000 employees

hold a CIPP qualification and proven demonstrated ability as a Payroll Manager

strong UK payroll experience, exposure to EMEA or international will be highly regarded

excellent communication skills

ability to manage third party contracts

be proactive in delivering a high quality service with a commitment to continuous improvement and responsive to change.

Manage, develop and motivate the Payroll team to deliver service excellence

Excellent organisation skills along with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines

Build strong relationships across the firm and ensure that data held and reports produced support the firms requirements

Be immediately available or on a notice period of 2 weeks
