HR Shared Service Manager
Fantastic opportunity, based in the Berkshire, for an experienced HR Shared Service Manager working for a well known brand.
The HR Shared Service Manager will lead the HR Shared Services function, supporting 5000+ employees, by providing HR advice, administration, along with people data management information and payroll support. You will ensure the relevant elements of the people strategy are successfully planned and implemented whilst maintaining a high performing customer centric service. This role also works directly with the HR Director supporting them to project manage the delivery of the overall strategic objectives of the HR function.
What will this role involve?
Responsible for setting the strategic direction and delivery plan of the HR shared services function ensuring a great employee experience is delivered from the employee life-cycle, management information and payroll teams
Agree and deliver a business plan within budget ensuring the activities fit within the People Strategy
Responsible for co-ordinating all people data systems within HR and for the maintenance and upgrades to SAP HR and related systems.
Manage and develop team members, including talent management and succession planning, to provide a talent pipeline for the wider HR community.
Develop and deliver processes to provide best practice in HR advisory, administration, MI and payroll.
Develop KPI's, monitor and report on performance, taking corrective action as necessary.
Take ownership of HR data ensuring data quality across the HR shared services team and the wider HR team Co-ordinate the HR audit, risk and governance areas
As a member of the HR management team support the HR Director in project managing and delivering the overall HR strategic objectives
Build and maintain an extensive network of relationships both internally and externally, as well as continuously being an ambassador of the brand.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a commercially aware CIPD qualified professional with excellent influencing and communication skills with experience of managing HR shared service functions. You will have demonstrable people management skills and the ability to confidently engage with senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the function and leading the team through change. Proficiency in data management and best practice in the production of MI as well as experience of planning and project management is essential. Knowledge of SAP or another HR system is highly desirable.
