Senior Staffing Coordinator
My client, a leading global management consultancy firm are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Staffing Coordinator to cover a 12 month maternity leave. Working in a team of 6 this role will work with the most senior partners in the company to understand project needs and achieve optimum deployment of consultants to projects. Whilst working closely with the consultants to understand their goals to assign them to projects that best match their development.Ideal candidates will have staffing experience within a professional services environment, excellent communication skills and confidence as you will be dealing with high profile projects and negotiating with senior partners across the firm.
Role Requirements:Work with Senior Partners and to achieve optimum deployment of consultants to projectsUnderstand upcoming projects and expected staffing requirementsAssign staff to projects, proposals, other sales development workWork closely within the staffing team to match and balance the needs of the consultants with the project requirementsWork closely with Consultants to manage their staffing needs and advise them on upcoming projects, and understand their goals and preferencesCommunicate all along the staffing process with Partners and consultantsCommunicate daily with the partners to maintain up-to-date view of the project pipeline and the needs of the businessAttend quarterly Career Development meetings to provide staffing perspective on consultants and better understand their individual development needs, strengths and weaknesses.Act as link between the Career Development Committee (CDC) and staffing teamMaintain accurate records of staffing assignments and pipelineBalance the needs of partners, clients and consultants in making all decisionsLiaise with European counterparts to assist with international staffing requestsApprove consultant holiday requestsWork with training team to understand schedule and availability of staffProvide cover to the London Head of Staffing when requiredProvide general holiday cover to staffing team when requiredManaging on-boarding of new joiner consultants including regular mid-point check insCandidate requirements:
