Head of Management & Leadership Development
We love working with this business – a multi-channel Group with a strong international presence incorporating a number of brands with a rich presence and history. Their unrivalled choice of products together with their investment in market-leading technology provides consumers both online and high street accessibility – offering the best customer experience in the industry. They won’t stop here and intend to continue seeking further opportunities for growth wherever and whenever they present themselves.
Their new Director of Talent & Organisational Development is leading a team of impressive specialists who can bring their internal brand strategy and purpose to life; encouraging and enabling colleagues to be the best version of themselves both now and into the future.
As Head of Management & Leadership Development you will play a critical role in establishing an environment for learning opportunities to be accessible ‘anytime anywhere’. You’ll develop core capability within their leadership cohort to nurture, stretch and mobilise talent - creating a high performance culture that drives both individual growth and business success. It’s a competitive market – you’ll want your organisational story to be a compelling example of people eager to join the movement and your existing folk not wanting to leave.
This role will offer you the opportunity to lead the development of the Group’s approach to management and leadership development; define the strategy, principles, curriculum, through to effective implementation. Considering alignment to their organisational values and promises, you will set the framework to manage performance, assess talent, cultivate potential, and plan for succession. There’s a lot to do.
Employee engagement and Diversity & Inclusion will also be key components to role – connecting and enriching their employee experience end-to-end, and embracing the rich dimensions and value of diversity across their talent pillars.
We’re looking for a professional who enjoys combining strategic capability with ‘hands-on’ expertise as a credible facilitator. Your career to date will demonstrate experience of designing and delivering leadership development programmes and curricula, facilitation and coaching of bespoke offerings - and their effective and practical implementation within a matrix environment. Your pragmatic approach will be underpinned by sound methodology, positioning you as a credible partner to work with multiple stakeholders and collaborate with the broader HR team to deliver results within this fast paced environment.
