A large provider of social housing in East London are looking to appoint a Human Resources Manager on a permanent full-time contract. A short walk from the tube station, the location of the organisation is on the central line, making it easily accessible from across London and the surrounding areas.
The organisation is looking to appoint a fast-paced HR generalist, who will be expected to formulate, develop and deliver a HR strategy that will support business growth and success. As the HR manager, you will play an important role in shaping the employee experience.
The role is centred around managing the HR department and delivering a comprehensive, forward thinking, business-focused HR service to the management and staff. You will be managing and developing a team of three experienced and dedicated HR advisors. As a team, you will provide comprehensive generalist HR support across the organisation that proactively advises managers on best practice. The organisation is going through a period of change and you will be heavily involved in implementing and supporting members of the organisation through this.
Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate generalist experience in a senior human resource management role, alongside the ability to deal with senior and sometimes challenging individuals. Applicants must have a strong understanding of employment law and experience in managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects.
