Our client is an innovative, not-for-profit company who lead the way in school and education performance improvement on a local level. With a commercial approach to their ambitious mission for every child to have access to great education, the charity is highly valued and respected.

They are looking for someone with a creative and flexible approach to support their senior leadership team as they enter a new and exciting phase of the organisations development and growth - this role will enable you to really make HR your own and support a fantastic organisation to do more.

As the Head of HR and trusted advisor to the SMT, you will lead your very capable and experienced team of five to support a workforce of over 400 people. HR is well regarded across the organisation however there is a lot of scope for the development of the function.

We are looking for an experienced senior HR generalist with experience of leading a people strategy that supports organisational growth, development and change. You will enjoy managing a small team in a hands-on operational role and be equally confident guiding senior leaders and managers with strategic HR advice. Your creative approach to developing employer brands, designing and implementing talent management and introducing effective learning and development programmes will also play an important part in this role with lots of future projects in the pipeline.
