Our client is a leading, international Technology Consulting organisation.

Having identified a potentially lucrative new offering in addition to their typical project work, they are on the looout for something a bit different as far as internal recruitment roles go. Your core activities will revolve around scaling their contingent IT workforce in the UK.

They're looking for a successful Tech Recruiter who has successfully built niche IT contractor books to join their TA / Sales teams and drive this new intiiative.

With potential longer term moves into an Enterprise Sales role or even a more traditional Talent Acquisiton role, this is a fantastic option for someone looking to make their first mvoe inhouse, or who has already done so and misses some of the cut and thrust of agency life.

Inhouse Tech Recruiter - £40k (c£60k OTE) - London - Job Role

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, this is a position that will give you the opportunity to make massive impact on the business' strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively source opportunities with clients to supply resources on a staff augmentation basis
  • Create, build and develop relationships with clients in target industry sectors
  • Source candidates from the contract market including conducting telephone screening calls to
  • qualify candidates' suitability
  • Develop strong working relationships with business stakeholders
  • Maintain a talent pool of candidates against agreed requirements - these will be sourced directly (with a focus on market mapping and networking) and through selected recruitment partners
  • Educate and enthuse candidates about internal opportunities
  • Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle
  • Own requirements from inception through to completion - driving recruitment activity forward
  • Promoting and expanding the employee referral progra
  • Manage external relationships with suppliers (recruitment agencies, job boards, press etc)
  • Report progress against agreed targets

  • An exceptional track record in the delivery of recruitment services, preferably inhouse in a project-led environment, but definitely agency-side originally
  • A demonstrable background of successfully recruiting for contract technology professionals, preferably with a focus on at least one niche vertical, is essential
  • First class customer and candidate management ability
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, including an excellent telephone manne
  • Good planning, time management, decision making, presentation and organisation skills
  • The motivation to achieve results and a record of achieving or exceeding KPIs
  • An ability to understand and liaise with a wide variety of people in a professional manner and present the brand's candidate proposition appropriately on the external market
  • A self-starter with the ability to operate both autonomously and as aprt of a wider team working to critical business objectives
  • A professional and corporate demeanour with the gravitas to influence senior business leaders
