Senior HR Generalist, 12 month fixed term contract, Manchester £30 -35k
Macmillan Davies are searching for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to take on a 12-month maternity cover contract based in Manchester or Leeds. In this role, you will work in partnership with directors, line managers and teams. Your confidence as a self-starter will see you quickly establish genuine relationships across the company and proactively add value to everything you do.

Your role
Providing guidance and direction in HR matters to assist the business leaders in driving a high performance culture
Developing relationships with, and working alongside, managers and other key stakeholders to ensure the alignment of the HR strategies with the business strategies.
Work with the regional management team to align people development
Drive client group relationships through continuous improvement and regular review of customer needs.
In partnership with the Resourcing team, work with managers to ensure that recruitment activity is aligned with business strategy.
Facilitate the mobility of high potential employees throughout the organisation by working with both the management team and internal HR stakeholders.
Provide case management support for maternity/paternity/adoption leave, compromise agreements, redundancy, relocation, redeployment and secondment matters.
Implement the performance management framework through line managers via the Performance Development Review (PDR) system and ensure completion within prescribed timeframes.

What are we looking for?
You will need to be a confident, personable and diplomatic
CIPD qualified
You will need to have considerable experience acting as a HR business partner/senior consultant
Multi-site experience and willingness to travel is essential
Experience of working within the construction/engineering sector desirable.
Experience of utilizing HR data to enhance management understanding and decision making.
