Payroll Manager - £45k to £55k + Benefits - Croydon, Surrey

A leading and unique Accountancy/Bureau organisation seek and experienced Payroll Manager to join their organisation to head up a team of 4 Payroll Administrators and a processing team (remotely)based in India.

Reporting directly into the Partner of the firm this is a role that you can really make your own and work with great clients from an amazing industry so its very specialist.

My client offers flexible working and are really looking for someone who wants to roll their sleeves up, run, drive and own this payroill offering.

The role:

Be the subject matter expert for all payroll related questions and queries

Head up a client portfolio of 300 clients and growing

Line manage a team of 4 Payroll Administrators and a processing team based in India remotely

Make sure that the team are fully motivated, understand what is expected of them and make sure that they give 100% customer service at all times

Manage your own portfolio of clients who tend to be more complex and demanding

Build strong relationships with existing clients but also new clients

Setting up of new clients

Work closely with Senior Stakeholders and company Directors

Sign off payments using BACS Systems

Manage TRONC for the clients


You must be an experienced Payroll Manager and have suitable line management experience

Must pride yourself on attention to detail and customer service

Have strong communication skills at all levels of business

Strong Excel skills

Demonstrate team development and training needs

Ideally have IRIS and Earnie but training will be given

Be a team player

Must have a strong CV and skill set plus show longevity
