Our client, a leading global FMCG business is looking for an HR Manager to cover two of their factories in the West Midlands. Sitting on the Site Management Team, this is a diverse role that will cover all aspects of the Generalist remit and transform the culture on site.
Sitting on the site leadership team within a performance driven business, you will take responsibility for day to day HR queries, as well as defining and executing the strategic HR plan across the population. You will lead on HR related matters and support the business and human capital strategy. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations Europe, this is an autonomous role and will take responsibility for business strategy and structure, recruitment and selection, learning and development and employee engagement. You will work with Centres of Excellence for the HR specialisms but you will manage and maintain the face to face stakeholder relationships. The sites are going through some transformation and change currently so there is a big project element to the role.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have previous experience of leading HR change and transformation. This is a key hire for the business so you will be motivated to learn and develop and want to take the next step in your career. You will be able to operate at a strategic level with the leadership team, as well as working with shop floor staff to ensure that there is a high performing culture. You will enjoy taking ownership of projects, challenging the status quo and developing people and processes. It would suit someone from an FMCG, Consulting or Retail background.
