Our client are a highly successful business with a reputation of being an employer of choice in the East Anglian region. They are now seeking to appoint an HR Business Partner to join their team, based from their Norwich site. The role will report to the Head of HR, taking responsibility for a designated business unit and will focus on the following areas:

- Advising managers on employee relations matters, assisting with grievance and disciplinary hearings, absence and performance
- Acting as the first line for a wide range of incoming enquiries to the HR department
- Ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures in line with current UK legislation and the meet the organisational needs
- Support the Head of HR across all areas of recruitment and retention
- Deal with queries regarding pay, benefits and contracts of employment
- Working in conjunction with the business to identify areas of improvement and future planning.
- Contribute to HR Projects and ad-hoc initiatives as and when required, supporting the Head of HR and Senior management team.

Candidates will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified with previous HR generalist experience gained in a fast paced, changing environment. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, a results driven attitude, the ability to evaluate situations, good analytical skills and stacks of energy!
Previous experience of working within a manufacturing/engineering environment would be advantageous.
